Kygo Concert Movie ‘Kygo: Back at the Bowl’ from Director Sam Wrench to Hit Theaters this Summer (EXCLUSIVE) (2025)

DJ-music producer Kygo’s sold-out concert from the Kygo World Tour at the Hollywood Bowl is set for a worldwide theatrical release in summer 2025.“Kygo: Back at the Bowl” will bedistributed by CJ 4DPlex.

The concert film is directed byGrammy-nominated and Emmy award-winning filmmaker Sam Wrench (“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” “Billie EilishLive at the O2”), featuring remixed and remastered sound, visuals captured in 8K with 18 cameras andexclusive behind-the-scenes footage.

“This film allows the audience to experience the performance like never before — feeling as thoughthey’re seated inside the Hollywood Bowl, interacting with the music and artists in an entirely new way.It’s a game-changer for how music and film intersect, and how audiences engage with them,” said Wrench.

Filmed with CJ 4DPlex’s ScreenX in mind, the film will also featureextended imagery for the 270-degree panoramic view, placing audiences in the front row at the show. It will also beavailable across multisensory 4DX premium format as well as standard 2D screenings worldwide.

The stop at the Hollywood Bowl was part of Kygo’s 2024-2025 world tour, which soldover 500,000tickets. The concert sees Kygo and featured artists perform hits from across his career including “Higher Love” and “It Ain’t Me”, and includes guest appearances from multi-Grammy winner Ryan Tedder for the first-ever live performance of their song “Chasing Paradise”; Ava Max, who performs alongside Kygo for a live performance of their track “Whatever” off Kygo’s new self-titled album; Zara Larsson performing their song “Like It Is”; as well as Calum Scott, Justin Jesso, Parson James and more.

Production companies include Wrench’s Next of Kin Content, an EverWonder Studio company; CJ 4DPlex; and Palm Tree Pictures, Kygo and longtime manager Myles Shear’s new film and TV production arm.
