J-stars victory vs+ hype thread (2025)

In summer J-stars comes out in the west in sweet sweet english (and a couple of other languages). I'm personally hyped to play online with Toriko, Momotaro Tsurugi,Edajima Heihachi, Jaguar, and Kenshiro (even though I got the japanese version)with and against people who speak my language. I'll finally be able to understand the text and most importantly the crossover story.

What are you hyped for and did you get the japanese release or have you even heard of the game!

Momotaro, Jonathan, Kenshiro squad.

Hiei, Yusuke, and Hisoka is another good one.

Only Jonathan and Joseph are in this game, and their moves and general gameplay suck, especially Joseph.

I know the western audience is really hyped, but I've played the sh*t out of the Japanese version of this game with my friends.
It gets repetitive fast, the combat is really slow compared to other 3D fighting games, only 20% - 25% of the characters are actually nice to use (as in enjoyable gameplay. not high tier), which in turn awakens an urge for more characters because most of them play like garbage, and there's zero merit in playing it alone, even the campaign sucks.

It's just fanservice, nothing more.

The only characters I ever liked were Aizen, Hiei, Kenshiro, and a bit of Toriko.

They said they were going to balance the game for the western release
